Pastor Mark Rindels: arrived at First Baptist Church in December of 2007 after pastoring Sequoia Heights Baptist Church in Manteca, Calif. (17 years) and Hillview Baptist Church in Union City, Calif. (5 years). He received his Doctorate of Ministry from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, Calif. in 2005, in addition to a Masters of Divinity, Masters in Forestry and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med. Mark's hobbies include taking cross-country road trips, playing the guitar, impersonating Elvis and spending time with his wife Yvette and their three adult children Ryan, Michelle and Matthew. Pastor Mike Sanchez:
Pastor Mike Sanchez has served as the Administrative Pastor at FBCGV since 2002, after pastoring at Rubidoux, Mt. Pleasant and New Covenant churches. A 1973 graduate of California Baptist University, Pastor Sanchez holds a teaching credential from CSU Sacramento. He also serves as the Director of Missions for the Sierra Foothills Baptist Association of the Southern Baptist Convention. Mike's hobbies include reading, woodworking, music and fishing. He is married to Jayne Sanchez, and has two grown children, Christopher and Paul. E-mail mike@firstbaptistgv.com.
Pastor Mark Nunn arrived at First Baptist Church in June 2010 after serving as the worship pastor at Fully Alive Church in Redwood Shores, Calif. (14 years) and Western Hills Baptist Church in San Mateo, Calif. (12 years). He received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from California Baptist College in 1982, and a Masters of Religious Education from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 1988. Mark's hobbies include musical theater, playing the keyboard, and community outreach. He comes to First Baptist with his wife Kathy, mom Carolyn, and five children: Amber, Austin, Aaron, Aidan and Ashton. E-mail pastornunn@yahoo.com.
Pastor Adam Click:
Raised in FBCGV from childhood, Youth Pastor Adam has a heart for the young people of First Baptist. He graduated from California Baptist University in 2003 with a degree in Christian Studies and keeps busy even when he's not spending time with his wife, Leslie, and their two small children, Hannah and Elijah. Adam's hobbies include riding a blue Vespa (that gets 60 miles per gallon), Ultimate Frisbee, playing the guitar and bass, and missions. He has been to 11 foreign countries, including Cambodia where he enjoyed delicacies such as fried tarantula. E-mail adamclick@sbcglobal.net.
